Terms of Service

Effective September 8, 2026

These terms govern your use of Canvas at hellocanvas.ai and related Canvas services operated by Ferum Labs ("we", "us"). By using Canvas, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and legally able to agree to these terms. If you use Canvas for an organization, you must have authority to act for it. Provide accurate account information, protect your email and sign-in accounts, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. Experimental service

Canvas provides a visual workspace for exploring designs, viewing project previews, and using available design tools. It is an early-stage product: features may change, be unavailable, or be discontinued. A feature working locally does not mean it is available in the hosted service.

Keep your own backups. Some edits and comments are browser-local drafts, not durable project saves. Preview environments can expire. Canvas is not a guaranteed archival, backup, or production hosting service.

3. Your content and permissions

You retain any rights you hold in content you provide. You grant us a non-exclusive permission to host, store, reproduce, display, and process that content only as needed to provide the service, carry out your instructions, and meet applicable legal obligations. This includes processing by service providers involved in features you use.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload, share, or modify content and for complying with licenses on imported designs, code, fonts, and assets. Do not upload credentials, private keys, or content you are not authorized to disclose.

4. AI-assisted work

Where enabled, AI features may use your prompts and relevant project content to generate or edit designs and code; voice features may transcribe audio. Outputs can be inaccurate, insecure, incomplete, or similar to other users' outputs. Review and test them before relying on, sharing, or deploying them. We do not guarantee that an output is unique or free of third-party rights.

Only request actions you are authorized to perform. Signing in does not itself grant permission to edit someone else's project, run a coding agent, deploy software, or incur third-party charges.

5. Sharing and third-party services

Project previews, asset links, and connected workspaces may have separate access controls. Do not assume that Canvas sign-in makes them private. You control which links and content you share and must check the destination's protections.

Canvas uses third-party services for functions such as authentication, hosting, storage, and optional AI processing. Independently connected services remain subject to their own terms. We do not control their availability or changes.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Canvas to violate the law or others' rights, distribute malicious code, abuse or harass people, access accounts or systems without permission, bypass access controls or usage limits, or interfere with the service. Authorized automation and coding agents must stay within the permissions and limits of their workspace.

7. Canvas software and feedback

Canvas software, branding, and service materials belong to Ferum Labs or their respective licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of them to you. We may use suggestions you voluntarily give us to improve Canvas, without an obligation to compensate you; this does not give us ownership of your project content.

8. Fees

These terms do not enroll you in a subscription or authorize a charge. If paid features are introduced, pricing and billing conditions will be presented before you purchase them. You remain responsible for separately authorized charges from services you connect or operate.

9. Availability and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, Canvas is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from errors. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses to the extent the law permits that exclusion. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Suspension and ending use

You may stop using Canvas at any time and request account deletion by contacting us. We may restrict or suspend access to address abuse, security risks, violations of these terms, or legal requirements. We may also discontinue the prototype. Where practical and legally permitted, we will provide notice. Export important work while you have access; deletion and retention are described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes and questions

We may update these terms as Canvas evolves. We will update the effective date and give additional notice of material changes where required. If you do not accept revised terms, stop using the service. These terms do not require arbitration or waive rights you have under mandatory law.

For questions, support, or a concern about the service, contact Ferum Labs at zo@ferumlabs.com.
